Founded in Caravaggio (Italy) in 1924 by Antonio Quaranta, born in a small workshop in the heart of the historic center of Caravaggio where the history of Quaranta nougat began, today the company is located in a modern plant of new conception, built according to the most high sanitary standards, where tradition blends with innovation; the machines are those of the past but computerized, so as to create a product "as it once was" but qualitatively superior.

Quaranta has been the first and passionate inventors of the Nougat Passion concept: Quaranta nougat is indeed made following the original Italian recipe dated 1924 but it gets further enriched and decorated with nuts, fruit, chocolate and creams that make it an appreciated dessert all over the world.
